Wheels in Motion
Wow! What a fabulous start to our first week back of the new academic year!
As we do every year, we began with introducing and diving into our whole school project, ‘Wheels in Motion’.
Each class was given a skateboarding workshop where the children were given the opportunity to learn brand new skills and focus on their teamwork. It was amazing to watch our children with some confidence in themselves, trust in each other and having a huge amount of fun!
Not only that, but every year group was out on a trip around the North East discovery the history of the wheel and how it has been used in our society for centuries.
Back at school, the children were putting their creative minds into action through a free write in English, observational drawings in art as well as collaborating for a presentation.
Overall an astounding week for all of our children!
