Spectacular Sculptures

What a way to begin our final half term of this academic year!

At Fulwell Junior School, we have been planning a very exciting ''Festival of Flight' which will take place on Wednesday 5th July.

This will encompass all the wonderful things we have been doing in our 'Take Flight' project and to demonstrate the skills we have learnt throughout the year.

In order to prepare for this event, every child in school was involved in sculpture week! We made two bird sculptures, one of which is going into a big art exhibition called the 'Fulwell Flock' and the other was made out of a range of materials.

The school was filled with excitement and concentration as we were determined to make our sculptures to be the very best that they could be.

Some children were also fortunate enough to visit Glenholme Care Home for a sculpture making workshop.

We can't wait to invite you into our doors to see our fabulous sculptures and all the other incredible things we have in store!
