We Are Performers - Empire Visit | Fulwell Junior School

Yesterday, some of our Year 4 and 5 pupils, who have shown a keen interest in the Creative and Performing Arts, had the opportunity to visit the Sunderland Empire for a "Creative Careers" workshop. Our morning consisted of a full tour of the Empire theatre (we even climbed over 100 stairs all the way to the top!). We then listened to a talk from both the Customer Service team and the Marketing and Communications team about different careers you can have in theatres and the Creative Arts. We got to do lots of activities including using sales techniques to convince our partner to buy our favourite thing from us and designing a new advertisement poster for the 2022-23 Aladdin show at the Empire theatre!
