World Internet Safety Day is celebrated Tuesday the 8th of February, 2022. This week at Fulwell Junior we have been learning about how to stay safe online, with our theme this year being "Exploring Respect and Relationships Online". Please take a moment to ask your child to reflect on their learning from Computing lessons and how they can become a safer online user. Attached are a few parental guides- the first guide is a link to the UK Safer Internet Centre website, which has useful tips for parents and carers exploring ways to keep your child safe online:

The second guide attached is a file of suggested family activities you may want to try at home together to explore online safety.
Additionally, TikTok and Whatsapp are very popular online apps among young people- attached are also two leaflets which provide tips for parents. It may be useful to discuss these with your child.
