Going Green!

Wow! What a fantastic start we have made to 2022!

All of our children have came back to school with a bang delighting us with their enthusiasm to learn and their dedication to their work. Our focus for this week has been 'Going Green!' Our learning has been centered around the colour green. We have created superb pieces of art work with oil pastels and observational drawings that Paul Cezanne would be proud of. We took on the role of an art curator and analysed a beautiful piece of art work by David Woodford. In science we have became botanists to discover the parts of a leaf and why they are so important to plants and in English we have allowed our creative writing shine with a free write. The possibilities were endless!
